(I know I’m not the kind to make many personal posts, as so far I’ve mainly posted gif sets and I’m not quite sure of your feelings towards personal shit, but I’m very excited about this one experience so, here it is)
I was discussing some assignment with a friend that I’ve just recently made in university, when we used the term ‘senpai’, and suddenly, out of nowhere, a japanese woman appeared and asked us if we were speaking Japanese. Turns out she was looking for conversation partners to learn Spanish so I instantly volunteered and exchanged numbers with her. I’m genuinely so excited about this, as it’ll definitely help me with the language, but I’m so nervous at the same time about screwing this up.

Should I read TFIOS in Spanish or in English? I fear the translation may not be so good and the changes might really alter the portrayal of each character.
This is the second time I’ve had this done to me, that I know of, and it fucking infuriates me. People who steal other users’ gifs and post them as their own, do you have the slightest idea of the time and work it takes to make what you’re simply stealing with a single click? I don’t know about other makers, maybe they’re good as hell and are capable of making a marvelous gifset/photoset/edit in a couple of minutes, but I belive that most would agree with me when I say that it takes time, sometimes a lot of time; you have to think about what parts of a scene you actually want to turn into a gif, you have to edit it, maybe it’s too dark or too bright, too big in order for you to post it and you have to cut some bits but you still want it to look good… That shit takes time, and as Tolkien said, all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us. Well, I’ve decided to make stuff of movies, series, books that I love, and I do not appreciate it when this happens.
